Set in the glorious Dorset countryside, Broadstone is one of the finest examples of an unspoilt heathland golf course in the South of England, and deservedly sits in the Top 200 golf courses in the UK. Within 250 acres of rolling terrain, the fairways run freely and separately through superb natural heathland with its swathes of heather, pine, gorse and rhododendrons, several holes offer magnificent views for miles around.
Founded in 1898 and laid out by Tom Dunn, then redesigned in 1914 by the legendary H.S.Colt, Broadstone boasts a truly challenging layout, with a course that is a stunning and deceptively strong par 70, the quality of which continues to attract a host of top national amateur events.
The golf course at Broadstone is very highly regarded and is rated in almost all golf rankings and reviews. It presently sits in the top 200 of the "Golf World's Top 200 courses in the UK & Ireland" and has just recently been added to the ROLEX top 1000 courses in the world.
